Renewable

Wind energy is plentiful, renewable, clean, produces no toxic hydro-carbons and emits no greenhouse gas emissions into our atmosphere. Fossil fuels are being depleted throughout the world and as the price of energy continues to increase, wind energy will become an increasingly more attractive alternative energy source. Wind energy truly provides a clean inexhaustible alternative to ozone depleting fossil-fuels.

About Wind Energy America

Wind Energy America is a publicly traded energy company that is focused solely on the renewable resource of wind energy. We are determined to provide a return on our shareholders investments while helping America reduce dependence on foreign oil and environmentally destructive fossil fuels. With a growing awareness in America for the need to reduce hydro-carbons in our atmosphere and to protect the health of our planet as well as preserve our way of life for our children Wind Energy America is poised for success.

Wind Energy America develops utility-scale wind-powered electricity generation facilities. These projects, when built, will sell that power to municipalities and utilities under long-term Power Purchase Agreements. The Wind Energy America team of professionals has extensive energy industry and development experience and skills in the fields of management, finance, power plant development and management, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, and business development.  Collectively our current portfolio of wind farms can produce approximately 176,000,000 kilwatthours per year, enough power to supply approximately 14,700 homes.

Wind Energy America is poised to take advantage of the economies of scale in the construction and operation of large wind farms, to enter into value-added strategic relationships with landowners, wind-turbine manufacturers, power customers and other power generators and to move swiftly to capture the value being created in North America today.

The U.S. wind industry broke all previous records by installing 9,922 MW (9.9 GW) in 2009.  The U.S. is now officially the leader in wind energy with more than 35,000 megawatts of installed capacity, as of the end of 2009, a 39% increase in the nations fleet over last year. Clearly the use as well as the need for a fossil-fuel alternative energy source isincreasing throughout the world.
