Wind Energy America entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boreal Energy

Wind Energy America Inc. (OTCBB:WNEA) announced today that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boreal Energy, Inc. to examine new opportunities relating to wind energy projects.

Boreal Energy, Inc. is a Minnesota based company that specializes in owning, operating and developing wind energy production facilities in North America, and is seeking to establish a very profitable portfolio of wind projects in the best wind regimes in the U.S. and actively manage that portfolio. The MOU includes an opportunity to invest in wind energy development projects with Boreal Energy.

Robert "Bobby" Williams, Chairman of Wind Energy America, stated "Boreal Energy has established a team with over 35 years of energy experience. We can't emphasize enough the significance of our understanding with Boreal Energy. They have a pipeline of 1,200MW (megawatts). This may provide us with significant opportunities to participate in high quality wind power projects."
